Please review points carefully after each show.
​Dec. 18th is the last day for any corrections. After that the points standings will be final.

Point Calculations

Each ribbon has a point value
1st 10
2nd 6
3rd 4
4th 2
5th 1
6th .5

Champion 20
Reserve Champion 12

Classic points are doubled.

Champion and Reserve are not given for equitation divisions that have only 1 over fences class.

Jumper champion & reserve are calculated over the weekend.

For HSV points to count two riders must complete the class.  GHJA requires three riders to complete for points to count.

TIP results must be reported by the rider.  HSV only reports the TIP High Point Riders.

​Points accrue from date of membership payment.  Points cannot be awarded retroactively, unless it is a correction of a reporting error prior to the deadline for year end corrections.

Both Horse, Rider, and Owner must be HSV Members for Hunter and Jumper Points to count.  

​Beginner divisions only require a rider membership (Leadline through Novice Mini Hunter).
